Tulip Ala Kiyiz

Ala Kiyiz is a traditional felt carpet of the Kyrgyz people, made using the roll-in pattern.

Felted wool rug is made of natural merino wool in dark blue and white colors. Ala Kiyiz is made according to the traditional Kyrgyz technique "bakyp saluu", which means overlaying wool along and across. This ensures durability and the high quality of the product. Ala Kiyiz is decorated with Kyrgyz plant motifs that grow high in the mountains. The patterns embody the beauty of mountainous nature and the tenderness of the flowers that grow under the heavens.
